From 7 March, travellers can enter Hungary without any covid vaccines or tests (more information).

However, if your first port of entry within Europe is not Hungary, please check the COVID related restrictions at As a general rule, you will enter the Schengen region at the port of entry (i.e., will not continue your trip through transit) and therefore will need to satisfy their COVID rules.

In Hungary, masks are obligatory only at special places (e.g. in hospitals).
