Second Announcement
The 2nd Analysis Mathematica Conference will start on 29th July at 9 AM
in the main lecture hall (on the first floor) of the Rényi Institute.
The preliminary program and the book of abstracts is already available
at
https://conferences.renyi.hu/2nd-analysis-mathematica-conference/programme-and-abstracts
Please check the program and signal (by email to
analysis.math.conf@renyi.hu), if you have any problem with that, in
particular if you may not be available for the timing of your lecture /
presentation.
A separate conference proceedings volume is not planned. However, all of
you are welcome to submit to the journal (Analysis Mathematica) or its
"little sister journal" Mathematica Pannonica. In general, the reality
is that papers by those delivering an invited lecture can be published
with Analysis Mathematica, whereas research presented in the contributed
short presentations section fit better to Mathematica Pannonica. Flyers
of both journals will be distributed in the conference package.
Those who have reserved accommodation through us at the student
dormitory or at Hungária Hotel, please inform us immediately if there is
any change in your dates. We must modify your reservations, even if for
extra cancellation costs.
We thank all those who contributed to the financing of the conference
with their payments. Please note that your invoices can be downloaded
directly from your registration account. Upon logging out, the system
offers you the possibility of downloading your own invoice. If you
encounter any difficulties, you may ask for help at the conference email
address.
All social programs are free for registered participants and
accompanying persons. Depending on interest, we have offers for you
every day after the scientific program. However, please sign up for
these facultative programs immediately on Monday, so that we can plan
for the size of the groups and make suitable arrangements, including
purchase of tickets wherever applicable. There will be form sheets on
the registration desk for signing up to these programs.
We will have a welcome reception on Monday, 29 July, from 6 PM. A short
excursion (walk) to Gellért Hill for a panoramic view of the city is
planned from 7 PM starting from the Institute. It takes about one hour.
A professionally guided city tour along the bank of the Danube is
planned on Tuesday 30 July evening from 6 PM. It takes about 2-3 hours
depending on interest and number of participants. The route is on the
banks of the Danube passing by several points of interest. The walking
tour starts off from the Institute, too.
On Wednesday, 31 July, from 4 PM a little sightseeing walk is planned to
the City Park, leading to the Széchenyi Bath and Spa where you can take
a refreshing evening. Don't forget to bring swimming suits and your
usual beach accessories.
On Thursday, 1 August we will have a conference dinner at Újbuda Trófea
Grill Restaurant. The dinner is from 6 PM to 10 PM. A group will be led
to the restaurant - some 5 stops by bus - right from the Institute
building starting at 5:30 PM. For those coming by themselves, the
address is 1117 Budapest, Hauszmann Alajos u. 6/b. It is within walking
distance from the student dormitory and can be reached by one bus line
from the hotel.
For 2 August, Friday we plan a boat tour on the Danube. You can sign up
for this on 29 July at the Institute. Further details will be announced
later, but the boat tickets - for those signing up in time - will be
bought in advance and at our costs. Participation for those not signing
up by 29 July evening to the event may not be guaranteed.
Looking forward to seeing you soon in Budapest,
Szilárd Gy. Révész
