Logic, categories and philosophy of mathematics

Call for Papers

We invite extended abstracts for contributed papers for the conference Michael Makkai 80: Logic, categories and philosophy of mathematics to be held in Budapest (Hungary) on 20-21 June 2019, in the areas logic, category theory, model theory, and philosophy of mathematics. We also welcome contributions on any other subject related to prof. Makkai's research interest.

Contributed Papers

We invite submissions by 24 May 2019. The  abstract should include the title and be of 1000 words maximum. The allocated time for delivering contributed papers at the conference will be 25 minutes, including discussion. Please prepare your abstracts for blind review. 

The Programme Committee, chaired by István Juhász and Péter Komjáth will strive for quality, variety, and diversity on the programme. We particularly welcome submissions from women, ethnic minorities, and other under-represented groups in the profession.

• The deadline for all submissions is 24 May 2019.
• All submissions should be made through this webpage at the Registration menu item.
• The decisions on the acceptance of submissions will be announced on 27 May 2019.
