Balatonvilágos is located on the eastern end of Lake Balaton, at a distance of 90 kilometres from Budapest.

From Budapest International Airport take bus 200E to Kőbánya-Kispest. A single ticket costs 350 HUF and can be purchased from vending machines near the bus stop. At Kőbánya-Kispest walk up to the train station. You can purchase you train ticket to Balatonvilágos from the yellow vending machines (that speak English) or from the cashiers. A ticket costs around 2200 HUF, both cash and card are accepted. The length of the train ride is bit over 2 hours and you will have to change at one point. To reach the venue, walk 1 kilometre from Balatonvilágos train station to the southwest alongside the beach through Zrínyi and Rákóczi streets.
